Seorang pria Tionghoa pergi ke Bank Mandiri di Jakarta dan berniat utk meminjam uang sebesar Rp 5.000.000 utk perjalanan bisnis ke Surabaya selama 2 minggu.
Karyawan bank mengatakan bahwa bank butuh suatu jaminan utk pinjaman tersebut, dan kemudian si pria Tionghoa memakai mobil Ferrari baru yg diparkir di depan bank sebagai jaminan. Kemudian pegawai bank setuju menggunakannya sebagai jaminan.
Setelah pria Tionghoa tersebut pergi, pemimpin dan karyawan bank tersebut menertawainya krn jaminan menggunakan mobil Ferrari baru seharga Rp 2.5M sebagai jaminan terhadap pinjaman sebesar Rp 5Jt.
Seorang pegawai bank kemudian memarkir mobil Ferrari tersebut ke dalam underground garage milik bank tersebut. 2 minggu kemudian, pria Tionghoa tersebut kembali, dan membayar hutang sebesar Rp 5Jt dan bunganya sebesar Rp 15rb.
Pegawai bank berkata, 'Tuan, kami sangat senang bisa berbisnis dgn anda, dan transaksi ini berjalan dgn lancar, tetapi kami sedikit bingung.
Ketika anda pergi, kami mengecek anda dan mengetahui bahwa anda sejatinya adalah seorang jutawan.
Mengapa anda repot2 meminjam uang hanya sebesar Rp 5Jt?'
si pria Tionghoa membalas sambil tersenyum, "Dimana lagi cari tempat di Jakarta ini yg bisa digunakan utk memarkir mobil saya dgn aman hanya dgn harga Rp 15ribu, selama 2 minggu...
